Element: Prepare for logistics operations
  • Operational requirement is analysed to establish scope and intent of logistics support
       
Element: Deployment requirements are received and interpreted to determine logistic requirements
       
Element: Reconnaissance of deployment area is conducted to inform planning including technical and functional siting considerations
       
Element: Work health and safety (WHS)/occupational health and safety (OHS) requirements and recognised safety precautions are applied throughout the operation in accordance with organisational policy and procedures

Element: Movement to the deployment site is managed in accordance with movement instructions and in observance of operational conditions
       
Element: Provide logistics support
  • Liaison with stakeholders involved in the operation is carried out to ensure most effective coordination of effort
       
Element: Operational or organisational constraints are recognised and logistics tasks are directed to align with these constraints
       
Element: Logistics support priorities are set to align effort with organisational objectives
